THE HOUSE
In the heart of the Luberon National park lies the medieval hilltop village of Saignon. Villa Saignon is located in the centre of the village, a short step from one of Provence's most beautiful village squares.

The house has 3 floors and there is a beautiful provencal staircase connecting the different levels. All rooms have a beautiful view on the Luberon valley and there is a small but intimate terrace on the 2nd floor with spectacular sunsets. In front of the house is a nice garden, partly shaded, which leads into a vaulted area below the house featuring a well equipped summer kitchen. The views from the pool towards the hills of the Luberon and across the valley up to Gordes are magnificent. The house faces South and West allowing full enjoyment of the Mediterranean Sun.

Villa Saignon has four levels:

Street level
The kitchen and the large living room are at street level. You'll also find a separate toilet here.

1st floor
The first floor has one bedroom with a bathroom/toilet , a second larger bedroom/living area, and a small office.
 
2nd floor
The second floor has two bedrooms with a shared bathroom/toilet, and a nice outdoor terrace with beautiful views into the valley.

Basement
On the lowest level of the house you will find the summer kitchen with entrance to garden and a "cave voutée", a vaulted area.

Garden & Pool
The garden is beautiful, with a nice pergola for plenty of shade, and has a big private pool. The pool area has breathtaking views of the Luberon mountains, and this is a good place to watch the magnificent sunsets.

Villa Saignon is fully equiped with central heating, and has two working fireplaces.
 
 
RENTAL INFORMATION & CONDITIONS  
From October 1st to the 1st of May there's a heating surcharge of €125 per week.
  
 
LOCATION
Saignon is situated about 40 miles east of Avignon, about 5 minutes from Apt, 15 minutes from Bonnieux , Gordes and Roussillon, 30 min. from L'Isle sur la Sorgue (famous for its antique shops) and 50 minutes from Aix en Provence.
